Vera is the receptionist, data entry and mailing clerk for the Administrative Office of the Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranches, Inc. She greets everyone who visits or calls in a professional manner and assists them individually. She keys in donations to our database, sends out the daily mail, and thank you letters. She also assists with all the mail outs to supporters. Vera has a background in customer service and retail. She earned a certificate in office management from Trenholm where she learned computer programs and office technology.

Vera has been married to Napoleon for over 30 years. They have two grown sons and one granddaughter. Vera is an active member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Shorter where she sings in the choir and is an usher. She enjoys being part of a women’s group that has an annual retreat and serves Thanksgiving meals to the needy in Tuskegee.
