Terry "Tj" Wood is the Director of Operations for the Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranches, Inc. In this role, he oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization's four ranches located throughout Alabama.

Prior to joining the Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranches, Tj spent approximately 23 years in law enforcement, primarily working in narcotics investigations with the Chambers County Sheriff's Office. He retired from law enforcement in September 2023 with the rank of Major.

In 2023, Tj was hired as the Director at the Tallapoosa County Sheriff's Girls Ranch, where he and his wife Jetta had previously volunteered and served as sponsors. The following year, in 2024, Tj was promoted to the role of Director of Operations for the Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranches.
